Houghton is in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and the largest city of Copper County. It is also in the list of the “100 Best Small Towns in America”. Houghton is surrounded on the east by Portage Township and Pilgrim, on the south by Hurontown and Isle Royale Location and on the west by Dakota Heights. The area is ideal for varied winter as well as summer sports, such as ice hockey, snowmobiling, hiking, sea kayaking, sailing, mountain biking etc.

Time Trial loop is near the main Tech trailhead. An almost flat loop, with very little climbing, but replete with technical wooden structures and natural obstacles. Some of the features are skinnies, step ups, ladder hucks, gap jumps, the wavy Mark’s Mustache Ride and a giant corkscrew bridge.

A perfect loop to work on your skill progression; ideal for advanced and intermediate riders as well, as there are bypasses at each feature. As for those willing to get dirty, the Time Trial Loop includes a dirt jump line with some big table tops at the bottom and an easier alternative line for the less skilled riders. So come and enjoy the Time Trial Loop, offering challenging and amazing features!
