Are you ready for a unique experience? If yes, visit the Council Grove Lake ORV Area and replace your imagination with an immaculate Motocross performance. This small and beautiful area is located behind the Council Grove Dam and offers approximately 30 ac / 0.12 km² of trails and borders with the Neshoa Riverbed.

Sitting at an elevation of 371.85 to 381 m / 1220 to 1250 ft, this area is mostly flat, but it also offers a few hill climbs. In 8 km/ 5 mi long of trails, you will find mostly hard pack, some mud, some sand, some steep hills and little dusk.

In addition, all area is surrounded by trees. Across the trails, you come across to few obstacles, which are marked, but still ride with caution. You also have to know that there is a noise limitation, so a spark arresting silencer is required. This year round motocross trail is addressed mostly to novice riders and some amateurs. Before you visit the Council Grove ORV Area, be sure that you obtain motocross insurance, as it is required. The parking lot, entrance and riding are free of charges.
