Upolu Airport is mainly used by small airplanes, commercial or military, and has no control tower. This small single runway airport is also used for skydiving. The skydiving operations are conducted by a Cessna 182 or 206 airplane with a 10000 ft/3048 m exit altitude.

Your body is falling at speeds near to 120 mph/193 kph. The breathtaking views from the aircraft and while free falling would definitely raise your adrenaline levels. You can see the Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa volcanoes, Waipio Valley, the Islands’ amazing coastline and even Maui if the weather is clear.

You don’t need to have previous experience in skydiving so as to make the jump. Experienced instructors will guide you all the way down until landing. Tandem skydiving is offered between 6:00am and 9:00am because later than that, the wind is getting stronger.

Skydiving is one of the few extreme sports where you can experience such an adrenaline rush. It is a mind blowing experience you will never forget.
