Whale beach is a beachside suburb in northern Sydney, at about 40 km/24 mi north of Sydney CBD (Central Business District). A beautiful beach holiday location that provides with many accommodation options, stylish cafes and good restaurants.

At the south end of Whale beach, there is a park with picnic facilities. The north side of the beach, known as Wedge attracts surfers of all levels.

Surfers can explore the waves with swell sizes from 3 ft-5 ft (1 m-1.5 m) to 10 ft (3 m). The best tide movement is rising and falling tides. Good wind direction is from the northwest,west and the ideal swell direction is from the north, northeast.

In summer the wind blows offshore at 10%, in autumn the wind blows at 16%, in winter at 16% and in spring at 13%. This idyllic spot can produce excellent waves in spring. The average water temperature is about 21°C/69.8°F. It is a crowded spot, especially on weekends, so be patient. Watch out for rocks and rips.

Keep right at the fork and enter the Warringah Freeway / Metroad 1.Take the exit toward Brook Street Naremburn. Turn right on Brook St. Continue to Flat Rock Drive. Turn right at Sailors Bay Rd. Take the first left onto Eastern Valley Way. Continue to Clive St. The Clive St turns slightly right and becomes Babbage Rd / State Route 29 Continue to follow the State Route 29. Slight right to Warringah Rd / State Route 29. Turn left at the Wakehurst Parkway. Continue to Pittwater Rd / Metroad 10. Open strofidexia to stay on Pittwater Rd / Metroad A ʹ 0. Continue to follow the Pittwater Rd. Continue towards Barrenjoey Ps. Go through 1 roundabout. Turn right at Whale Beach Rd
