Sunshine Coast is situated between Port Elizabeth and East London in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa. Beset with countless little villages with access to the beach, it's a holiday maker's dream destination. All these little villages offer access to the beach, lagoons and trails to explore. The climate here is sub-tropical with winters at 21°C/69.8°F and summers up to 30°C/86°F.

East London is characterized by long stretches of beach and river mouth providing an ample atmosphere for surfing the beach or a river mouth. Water temperatures during summer range between 16-24°C/60.8-75.2°F  while in winter they can drop considerably so as to need a wet suit at least 2mm.

Sunshine Coast is a surfer’s heaven. Surfing at this area is characterized by a predominant south west wind and swell direction with wave faces at a constant 2-3 m / 6-9 ft at the point breaks. During summer time, the winds vary from south-west to south-east with wave faces at 1-2 m /3-6 ft. Enjoy the scenic beauty Sunshine Coast has to offer from endless unspoiled coastline to pristine forest. One also needs to be wary of sharks including the great whites.
