Northstar California is a ski resort, located near Truckee, California, USA. It is a very big ski resort, covering 3170 skiable acres/12.83 km².

This beautiful ski resort also offers on-mountain dining in Mid-mtn, Zephyr Lodge, Ridge-Carlton and Summit. It has 7 terrain parks. Pinball which is medium and large, Moonshine which is small, Button Progression Park which is small and medium, The Straits Park which is large, Pipeline which is large, The Stash which is small medium and large and Lil’ Stash which is small.

The resort allows overnight skiing and Telemark skiing. It provides 97 trails, of which 13% for beginners, 60% for intermediate and 27% for advanced skiers.

Longest run is 1.4 mi/2.25 km on Logger’s Loop. There is a lift system of 20 lifts, 2 gondolas, 1 six pack express, 7 quad express chairs, 1 fixed gripped chair, 2 triple chairs, 2 two/surface lifts and 5 magic carpets. Uphill capacity is 34,799 skiers/hour.
