Hood River Skate park is located in the city of Hood River, which was named after the close by river.

The creation of Hood River Valley Parks and Recreation District was intended to provide mostly young people of the community with a recreational area to exercise their favorite sport. All safety measures are taken in order to avoid accidents and spend little money.

Some of the facilities, the Skate-park offers are a half-pipe, bowl, various sizes of boxes and rollover ramps. There have been some modifications to improve this leisure land and the park was stretched to include a BMX course and a picnic area. Surely that is not all you can find, there are a number of other specially designed areas to keep you busy.
