Bahariya Oasis is located in the south west of Cairo, in the heart of Egyptian Western Desert. Starting point for the White and the Black Deserts, Bahariya Oasis, surrounded by a chain of black hills covered by thin gold sand, is an excellent natural arena for sand-boarding.

Bahariya depression is known widely as a starting point for various touristic and archaeological excursions. The area has been lately become known as the perfect playground for the sand-boarding fans.  Mountain Dist, Maghrafa and Ghurabi are some of the surrounding hills which form the best sand dunes for really unforgettable delightful moments in the desert.
