La Molina is a ski resort in the municipality of Alp in Girona. The temperature varies from 1°C to 17° C/33.80°F to 62.60°F through the year, with February being the coldest month. There are 16 total lifts like cable cars, chairs, baby and drag lifts. The first lift is at 1700 m/5577 ft and the top lift at 2445 m/8021 ft. The vertical drop is 875 m/2870 ft with 40 km/25 mi of total ride area. The artificial snow-making coverage is at 42%. 50% are green tracks (easy), 39% are red and 11% black (very difficult).
If you feel ready, you can choose to discover the wild area outside the resort. A great route is the passage to Masella resort, follow Muntanya Sagrada until the Olimpica route.
There are schools holding training lessons or organizing excursions to the mountains of La Molina and the nearby area. There is a variety of services like playrooms, cafes, and mountain huts.
