Gauteng is the smallest province in South Africa yet its economic power house. It is located in the heart of South Africa's Highveld Region and is highly urbanized and densely populated. Gauteng offers to its visitors an option to explore the hustle and bustle of its urban life or the natural attractions outside its main cities, Johannesburg and Pretoria.

The Rhino and Lion Nature reserve is set right in the heart of the Cradle of Humankind, just at 40 km/25 mi from Johannesburg. Apart from the wildlife, it is home to the amazing Wonder Cave, which is believed to be over 2.2 billion years. The spot covers an area of 125 m/410 ft long and 154 m/505 ft wide. The cave offers caving at its best conditions with optional abseils, tight squeezes and narrow passages.

It hosts approximately 14 stalactite and stalagmite formations up to 15 m/49 ft high and still growing. Face up to your fear of darkness by caving in this 60 m/197 ft deep cave and come face to face with diverse creatures, living in the underground world. The excursion lasts anything from 3-4 hours and difficulty if any, is tight squeezes and upper body strength.
