World Snowboard Day first launched in 2006 with the sole purpose of spreading the love for snowboarding to the masses. The international snowboarding community, with a series of events across the word, is offering a unique opportunity to everyone to get in touch with the sport for free!

More than 500,000 people have had the chance to be part of WSD since it first launched, through more than 1000 events across the world. The world wide events are supported by the World Snowboard Federation (WSF), SnowSports Industries America (SIA), and Token, GoSki , Oz Conseil communications agencies.

The 11th edition of the WSD continues to extend its internationality with the help of 3 ambassadors over 3 continents. Rob Kingwill for the American continent, Gian Simmen for Europe and Wang Lei for Asia, are the people responsible for spreading the snowboard-mania in their regions.
