Sochi is a city situated in the federal subject of Krasnodar Kray, Russia. Its exact location is near the border between Russia and Georgia, on the Black Sea coast. Sochi is known to the entire world, as the 2014 Winter Olympics and Paralympics are about to take place here.

In the Rosa Khutor ski resort, to the west of the Rosa Khutor plateau lies every alpine skiing freerider’s dream, the Extreme Park Rosa Khutor. The park is placed at an altitude of 1100 m/3608 ft above sea level. It is a freestyle center that every freeride skier will love.

With a capacity of 10000 standing and 4000 seats, it can host a great show, offered by experienced athletes who will give their best. The build of the park started in 2011 and in February-March 2012 it hosted the first official competitions.

Extreme Park will host the freestyle skiing events of the Winter Olympics and Paralympics of 2014. The features of this extreme park include aerials, moguls, ski cross, gore touchdown, halfpipe and slopestyle.
