Long beach is a sandy, extensive beach, close to Good Harbor beach.

In fact, the spot is located among Gloucester and Rockport, however, it’s considered to belong mostly to Rockport. Parking is easy, as you can find a lot of parking lots in the area, but note that it is not for free.

It is a rather protected spot so there is no particular wind and swell directions. Swell size starts working at 1.5 to 2 m/4 to 6 ft and can reach up to 2.5 m/8 ft. You won’t find a lot of people here neither in week days nor in weekends. Suitable for both experienced and beginner surfers and especially beginners are most likely to find help if needed. The beach does not reserve any hazards, so no need to worry about it.

Being so close to  Gloucester and Rockport, one can find a lot of options for accommodation and restaurants, while the spot attracts a lot of tourists during summer time.
