Lenham Lake Trail is located on the Central Cascade Mountain, at the Wenatchee National Forest. It is 3,2mi/5,1km long, about three hours climb, with an elevation gain of 1100ft/335m.
It is a short hike, suitable for practitioners of all skill levels, but keep in mind that the trail is narrow with thick vegetation and you climb through an ice rimmed creek. The trail leads to Lenham Lake, an amazing alpine lake with tall dark pine trees and wonderful view, perfect for winder campers and picnics.
Lenham Lake Trail is open for snowshoeing from December through early March. Always check the weather forecast before you choose this trail and don’t forget to take with you a map and a compass.
