To approach Careno Crag Climb, you follow the Snow Creek trail head for about half an hour to get to the crag base. This rock is one of the largest crags, located in the lower Icicle River Valley. The top elevation of the crag is at 1700 ft/518 m and is suitable for climbing from April to October. The skill level required for this climb is grade II, class 5,1, not suitable for beginners.
It is a solid rock, providing with good quality crack and face climbing in three different routes: the Regular Route, the Corner Route and the Bale-Kramar Route. Most of the routes have bolted climbs and bolted belays equipped for rappelling. Careno Crag Climb is an exciting adventure for rock climbers.
