The launch area is beside the road, on the west side of the peninsula. Admire the stunning views of the surrounding area, while you are flying through the air. The optimum wind direction is from the west, southwest and the ideal time to visit the spot is during spring and summer months.
It is advisable to avoid landing on the Golf Course, as it is a private property. Keep in mind that it is a very windy location, so be cautious. Finally, Old Head of Kinsale is appropriate for more experienced pilots.
