Mountain Creek is a well-known ski resort in Vernon Township, New Jersey, United States. The fact that it is located at only 47 mi/76 km far from the George Washington Bridge, makes the spot always busy. It is also the closest ski resort to NYC.

For your favorite sport, the resort offers a vertical drop of 1040 ft/316 m and a top elevation of 1480 ft/451 m. Furthermore, it provides 100% of snow-making. The average snowfall is 165 cm/year (65″). Another point in its favor, is that it has the region’s only true all-mountain terrain park at South. The terrain parks have been rated as the best in both the east and the nation. There are totally 41 trails. You can also find 2 high speed quads, 1 high speed 8-passenger gondola, 2 fixed grip quads, 1 fixed grip triplex, 1 fixed grip double and 2 magic carpets. The terrain park offers 2 high speed quads and 2 peaks. There are also 76 ac/ 0.30 km², which are formed for freestyle skiing.
The South Peak Park is tailored for intermediate and advanced skiers, the Bear Peak Park for experts and the Twist Park at Vernon Peak hosts all levels of ability.
