Cagayan River also known as Cagayan de Oro River is a well-known river, draining the north central part of the island of Mindanao in the Philippines.

At Cagayan River, White Water Kayaking tends to be the most breathtaking activity. So, if you are interested in enjoying this sport, Cagayan River is the place to be. Cagayan River has been promoted by the Department of Tourism as a unique place for getting in touch with white water kayaking.

The mouth of the river is located in Cagayan de Oro City and discharges its load to the Macajalar. You start this magic trip from the famous Uguiaban Bridge, you follow a 16 km / 9.94 mi stretch. In this 16 km / 9.94 mi stretch, you have to fight with 21 rapids, which will definitely make your activity more challenging. Uguiaban bridge connects Cagayan de Oro and Talakag. The first rapid is Kalawa-ing, with a sudden drop from boulders. Uguiaban is considered to be as one of the major rapids in the Uguiaban to Aura. So, don’t miss this experience!

While you perform your activity, you also find some places where you can go more slowly and admire the natural beauty of this spot. If you are one of those who need something more adventurous, you can just try jumping from a huge boulder that you will come across. Description: In this course, you will start learning the importance of ground control. This means that you will learn to control the canopy as it floats over you while you remain on the ground. Ground handling is the most difficult aspect of learning to Paraglide and the most vital training experience for beginners. The experience you gain from ground control has a very explicit impact on actually flying. Mastering ground control makes the actual flying part easy!

You will learn about the safety regulations, equipment used, rules of the ridge and an overall outline of flight dynamics.

-Meeting time is 7:00 am, best time to fly is in the early morning.

-Polyester/trekking pants (shorts, not really recommended due to the sharp grasses, but if you insist, you can).

-Any dry fit shirt for comfort. You can also wear leggings.

-Sun protection: hat, sun block, shades, long sleeve jersey.

-Outdoor shoes, trekking shoes, trail shoes or running shoes. SLIPPERS IS A NO NO. A change of clothes – after the sustained adrenaline.

-Toiletries: insect repellent, alcohol, wipes.

-Helmet: bike or any sort, if you prefer to use your own, we sell TUBETURBANS at a reasonable price, if you are particular when you borrow a helmet.

-Camera or video camera for souvenir shots.

The best time to fly is in the morning from 7AM to 9AM. Weather is quite unpredictable and we really want everyone to be able to do the tandem flight. It is highly advisable for you to come early and as soon as the wind conditions are favorable, we will do the tandem flight.

What to Bring:
