The Green Kalahari is located in the Northern Cape, bordering Namibia and Botswana. It is characterized by red dunes, mountain desert and grasslands. Green Kalahari boasts best of both worlds, unspoilt semi-desert with green vineyards at the fertile valley of Orange River and its shimmering waters, which thunder into a deep granite to form the mighty Augrabies Falls.

The thundering Augrabies Falls stands at an awesome 56 m/183 ft with an amazing adventure with breathtaking scenic beauty.

The amazing 60 km/37 mi adventure is characterized by flat moving water with exciting rapids. Rapids here are graded 1-3 with an easy level of difficulty.

Minimum pax is 12 and the maximum pax is 16, with swimming abilities and medium level of fitness and agility. Though the adventurous trip is guided, camping equipment is self catered and best times to go for kayaking is during the months of October to April, depending on water levels and pax numbers. Minimum age stands at 13 years.
