Rock Climbing in Stathams Quarry, Perth, Western Australia Australia
There is a plethora of climbing sites close to the capital city. Statham’s Quarry lies in Gooseberry Hill and is less than an hour drive from Perth. It is a very popular location for rock climbing and abseiling. Stathams Quarry provides a number of walls with good climbing conditions on clean and solid rock but with some loose rock around the top of the cliff, so it is advisable to wear a helmet.
