With an altitude of 1344 m/4409 ft, Ben Nevis is the highest mountain of Scotland. Fort William, on Ben Nevis' foot, is the central town of the Highlands. The Tower of Ridge is one of the most interesting routes up to the summit. Pretty demanding rock climbing abilities are required during the ascent.

Rock Climbing in Shot Down in Flames Route, Wenatchee, Washington USA
Shot Down in Flames Route is located on Tumwater Mountain, outside Leavenworth Town, at half an hour away from Wenatchee. It is a quiet, isolated location, with a vertical crag on the ridge. The top elevation of the rock is at 3850 ft/1173 m and it is perfect for climbing from May until October.
The skill level required for this climb is grade 1, class 5,10+, not suitable for beginners. Because of the difficult approach to Shot Down In Flames Route by car, from a curvy Ranger Road, this place keeps its privacy and it is perfect, when combined with camping on a beautiful area on Tumwater Mountain.
