It is an easy going community only 16 mi/25.8 km away from Boulder. Mountain biking is one of the sports that are very popular in Boulder. A famous biking trail is Walker Ranch Loop. It is an excellent ride not far away from Boulder. You can enjoy, while riding, the magnificent vistas of Eldorado State Park and Indian Peaks.
The length of the trail is 8 mi/12.9 km. The 3.9 mi/6.2 km riding is on singletrack and the 3.5 mi/6.3 km riding on doubletrack. Trail level is advanced, so if you are not so experienced, try out one of the numerous trails around. The trail offers an elevation gain of 850 ft/259 m.
Skill level is regarding physical level, moderate and as for technical level, easy. Trail type is out and back.
