Adelaide, the liveliest city in Australia, is the capital of South Australia state. It is situated on the Adelaide Plains and more specifically at the north side of Fleurieu Peninsula. It is built next to Torrens River and is surrounded by the Mount Lofty Ranges and the Gulf St Vincent. Fox Creek is situated at 34.8 km/21.6 mi from Adelaide CBD.

If you love mountain biking freeride, you should visit Fox Creek, in Mt Crawford Forest. Although the trail area is used for MTB races, it is open for public use as well. It offers a cross-country track (8 km/4 mi long) and several downhill tracks (2-3 km/1.3 mi-1.8 mi long), addressed mostly to intermediate/advanced riders.

All tracks have obstacles, challenging terrain and steep sections. For those who wish to ride outside the downhill area, there is a great number of trails leading to Adelaide Hills.

Note: All riders must wear helmets.
