Afton Alps is a well known ski resort, located along the St. Croix River, just outside Minneapolis and St. Paul, in the northeast corner of Denmark Township, Washington County, south of Afton, Minnesota in the Unites States.

The resort offers 7.5 mi/12.07 km of trails, which are formed for novices as well as experts. Trails are broken into sections, so each rider can select how much challenge he/she wants to experience. “Bridge Loop”, “Cliffs Edge”, “Southern switchbacks” and “Express” are some of the trails that experts of mountain biking shouldn’t miss for the world, whereas novice riders will appreciate trails, such as the “Southbound Crossing”, “Shady Lane” and “Deer Path”. All routes include some steep climbing, which will make your activity more challenging.
