Wenatchee is the largest city of Chelan County, located in North Central Washington and lies on the west side of the Columbia River. The city is also known as the Apple Capital of the world, due to the valley's apple cultivations.

Fish Lake Snow Park is located next to Fish Lake, at 16 mi/26 km in the west of Leavenworth. It provides with a trail system of 186 mi/299 km, sanitary facilities along the trails, scenic view points and campgrounds. Dog sledding is the ultimate winder activity, suitable for all ages.

It is a fun and exciting adventure where a graceful pack of Alaskan Huskies, is taking you for a ride through the amazing alpine valleys and groomed trails of the Cascade mountains. You can book a guided tour if you do dog sledding for the first time and feel the rush of the cold mountain air. For the most experienced dog sledders, the Northwest Sled Dog Association is organizing, every winter, the Cascade Quest Race.
