Manaus is the capital city of the state of Amazonas. It is situated at the confluence of the Negro and Solimões rivers. Located in the middle of the Amazon rainforest, its access to the city is primarily through boat or airplane. This isolation helps in preserving both the nature as well as the culture of the city. Maunas is also a seat venue, hosting some of the football matches for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

Great natural settings such as the confluence of the rivers, spectacular waterfalls and beaches, tours in the jungle as well as a number of parks, zoos and aquariums in combination with historical landmarks and sights such as the Amazonas Opera House, constitute a good reason for someone to be enchanted by Manaus.

However, all these can be equally admired from above, if you skydive from an altitude of 11000 ft/3353 m or 14000 ft /4267 m high. Skydiving instructors will assist you with instructions in the air from the moment you jump from the aircraft until your landing.

The city houses a skydiving school that offers you the chance to feel the excitement and adventure of a free fall sport, in a place ornamented by such a natural beauty, giving you the opportunity to admire scenic views.

Whether you are an amateur or a professional jumper, you will follow an initiation course before your take off. Guidelines on redifining your body during the free drop or how to practice manoeuvers are included in the courses. Depending on the level of ability, jumpers can practice 90 or 360 degrees maneuvers. Your instruction will include how to make 360-degree turns, along with a review of previous body maneuvers.

The necessary equipment is provided by the school, while the dives are guided and assisted by professionals, so leave any fear or hesitation aside and enjoy this unforgettable experience!
