Castleton is a picturesque village in the Derbyshire Peak District, about an hour drive from Manchester. In addition, the landing point is found at 53°20’39” (53.3443)N; 1°48’45” (1.81276)W, at an elevation of 415 m/1361 ft. Furthermore, the optimum wind direction is from the south and southwest.

The site attracts visitors any time of the year, but the best periods are during spring and summer months. Note that, Rushup is suitable for advanced pilots. Last but not least, if you find yourself here, you should definitely explore the Edale Valley, which boasts a wide range of flora and a variety of butterflies.
