East Sussex is located in the south of England. The county enchants visitors with its scenic coastline, historic towns, and unspoilt landscapes. But that is not all, East Sussex also provides a great number of recreational activities for visitors and locals alike.

Camber Sands is a large, sandy beach that lies near Hastings. It is an increasingly popular location for a number of water-sports, especially for kite-surfing and stand up paddle boarding, due to flat, shallow water and favorable wind conditions. The swell size usually starts from less than 1 m/3 ft. In addition, the best tide movement is rising and falling tides and the ideal tide position is all tides.

The site accommodates almost any wind direction, but the best wind direction is from the southwest. Furthermore, the beach break offers right and left hand waves. Keep in mind that, the ideal time to visit Camber Sands is during summer. Last but not least,  the spot is suitable for beginners during summer months and for more experienced paddlers during winter.
