Kite surfing is quite a popular activity in Wales. Swansea with its many beaches provides suitable accommodation meeting anyone's needs, preferences and budget for a pleasant stay on spot.

Places for eating and drinking are close to the beach area with a variety of food, available to the visitors. Most of the beaches are with medium sized sand with few or no rocks. You can find isolated areas, not crowded with tourists in almost every beach.

In some cases, water has the reputation of low purity but don’t deprive yourself from entering the sea since the weather conditions will compensate you. Most organized places for kite-surfing in the area are Swansea Bay, Porthcawl and Gower beaches.

In Porthcawl, there are 3 main beaches with southwest and westerly winds, best at low tide. Swansea bay has been observed to have ideal wind conditions from south and south-east to the east while Gower offers many beach options, suitable for different directions of the wind to be observed in favor of the kite-surfers.
