Mooloolaba Beach is located close to Point Cartwright and it is considered to be the safest beach on Sunshine Coast. The spot caters for a variety of facilities, including Mooloolaba Surf Life Saving Club, a large car park, BBQ facilities and playgrounds for the kids. Mooloolaba is a beach break that provides with the right conditions for surfers and body-boarders. The average water temperature is around 28°C/82.4°F in summer and around 20°C/68°F in winter.
Offshore winds usually blow from the southwest and the ideal swell direction is from the east. The spot is appropriate for body-boarders of all levels.
