North Little Rock, known as "opposite Little Rock" until the civil war and ''Argenta'' from January 1906 to October 1917, is located across the picturesque Arkansas River in Pulaski County, Arkansas. The state’s 6th largest city includes among others beautiful lakes, magnificent parks, walking and bicycling trails, recreational and entertainment facilities.

Burns Park is a 1700 ac / 6.9 km² park, located in North Little Rock. Some of its many amenities are: 17 Soccer Fields, 3 outdoor basketball courts, 5 softball fields, 7 baseball fields, RV camping, playgrounds, accessible fishing pier, Boat launch to the Arkansas River, golf courses, archery range, seasonal amusement park. The spot also features a 15 mi / 24.1 km long of natural surface multi-use trails, a 6 mi / 9.7 km long of paved multi-use trails and one of the three BMX race tracks of the state of Arkansas.

Bonzai BMX is an American Bicycle Association sanctioned BMX track, located in Burns Park. The course is set up with some steep turns and jumps and is suitable for practice or racing for all ages and experience levels. Bonzai BMX has become quite a hotspot especially when the season is up, where you can watch or BMX almost seven days a week.
