Costa Esmeralda is famous for its Northerlies, whose intention range from 20 knots/37 kph to 40 knots/74 kph. That happens during the period from October to March. It is actually the best period you may visit Costa Esmeralda and enjoy the winds and the waves. The height of the waves averages from 0.5 m/1.6 ft to 3 m/9.8 ft. Styles that kite-surfers may try are freestyle, wave, and certainly bump and jump.
The temperature ranges from 14°C/57.2°F to 33°C/91.4°F. Rainfall is a usual phenomenon during the summer. The temperature of the water averages to 22°C/71.6°F.
