Istanbul, representing the modern side of Turkey, is not only a great touristic destination but it can be also an excellent choice for the kite surfing fans.

A few kilometers away from the historical center of Istanbul, in Burç beach, wave riders can enjoy a great spot to perform kite-surfing. Overlooking the south west shore of the Black Sea, Burç beach is a good place for kiting. The wind blows from north-east and has medium force, approximately, at 16-25 knots.

The spot is suitable for all kind of levels and with easy access. In 2012, the Burn Kite board World Tour was held in Burç beach, gathering athletes from all over the world.
