Voodoo is a nice location for surfing, diving and spearfishing. It is located in the Kurnell National Park, close to a popular surf spot, Suckrock. The average depth here is at 12 m/39.4 ft and the maximum is at 24 m/78.7 ft. Visibility is good in favorable conditions.
The spot is suitable for advanced divers and only when conditions are placid. Water temperature is up to 21°C/69.8°F in summer and early autumn months and between 14-18°C/57.2-64.4°F in winter.
The ideal time to dive this spot is on an incoming tide. The terrain is rocky and you may come along with bream, red morwong, old wives, kingfish and leatherjacket to name just a few. Keep in mind that the conditions can change without warning.
The ideal wetsuits for winter are 5mm and 3.5mm for summer. It is advisable to bring a flag with you, in order to avoid a boat accident. Last but not least, you are required to pay an entry fee to the park.
