It is a great location for snorkeling, diving and spearfishing as it is protected and calm. With abundant marine life close to the shore, Little Bay offers great spearfishing opportunities. It is considered to be a shallow dive, with an easy entry point, around the headlands. Its maximum depth drops down at 15 m/49.2 ft and the spot is ideal for all levels of divers.
Visibility rate is pretty good on high tide. Water temperature is up to 21°C/69.8°F in summer and early autumn months and between 14-18°C/57.2-64.4°F in winter. The terrain is rocky and you may encounter with bream, red morwong, old wives, kingfish and leatherjacket.
Note: the ideal wetsuits for winter are 5mm and 3.5mm for summer. Finally, it is advisable to bring with you a flag, in order to avoid a boat accident.
