Perth is the capital city of Western Australia, located on the Swan River. The climate here is classified as Mediterranean, with hot and dry summers and cool and wet winters. Kalamunda National Park is located at about 23 km/14 mi in the east of Perth, close to the town of Kalamunda. Apart from the stunning location, the Park offers a variety of facilities and sport activities, including trekking and rock climbing. There are about 7 different areas and the highest climb is only up to 12 m/39.3 ft high, but most of them are of outstanding quality.

In addition, climbing here consists of granite boulders which are hidden on the wooded slopes. The difficulty level varies, depending on the chosen route. Furthermore, it is also a great place to go bouldering. Last but not least, climbing at Kalamunda National Park is possible at any time of the year.

Head north on William St / State Route 53 toward Murray St. Turn right onto Wellington St / State Route 65. Turn left into Lord St / State Route 51. Slight left to stay on Lord St / State Route 51. Turn right onto the ramp, Graham Farmer Freeway to Welshpool / State Route 8. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for East Perth / East Parade / State Route 66. Enter the Graham Farmer Freeway / State Route 8 via the ramp on to Welshpool / Midland / Airport Continue to follow the State Route 8. Take exit Roe Highway / State Route 3 in Midland. Enter the Roe Hwy / State Route 3. Turn right into Kalamunda Rd / State Route 41. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit towards Elizabeth St. Turn right at Railway Rd. Take 1st left onto Spring Rd.
