The Wild Coast mountain biking runs from Hluleka, a breathtaking reserve which lies at 80 km/49 mi away from Mtatha (formerly Umtata) to Coffee Bay.

This is a 33 km/20 mi one way route and classified from intermediate to advanced, with a terrain of hiking trails, soft sand and rutted cattle tracks. This route also offers an extreme hill to tackle at 13.5 km/8 mi and steep drop at 27.5 km/17 mi. Summers are very wet and the drier months are May and June. This route is not suitable for children.
