Although it is a small island, the smallest island of the Greater Antilles, Puerto Rico provides superb natural surroundings, countless adventure experiences and many places of historical interest.

Aguadilla is a lovely city, located on the northwestern side of Puerto Rico. Its name derives from the name given by the Indians and means garden. Aquadilla is well known to visitors for its amazing beaches. Wilderness is an exposed beach and reef break, that is located close to Gas Chambers surf spot.

It offers reliable surf and mostly attracts experienced surfers. The swell sizes start from 1-1.5 m/3-5 ft and hold up to 4 m/12 ft. In addition, the optimum wind direction is from the east and the ideal swell direction is from the north. In summer, the wind blows offshore at 22%, in autumn it blows at 57%, in winter at 65% and in spring at 66%. Furthermore, the best tide movement is rising tide and the ideal tide position is all tides.
