Sochi is a city situated in the federal subject of Krasnodar Kray, Russia. Its exact location is near the border between Russia and Georgia, on the Black Sea coast. Sochi is known to the entire world, as the 2014 Winter Olympics and Paralympics are about to take place here.

In Krasnaya Polyana, at an altitude of 1100 m/3608 ft, to the west of the Rosa Khutor plateau in the famous ski resort of Rosa Khutor, an amazing area is placed. The Rosa Khutor Extreme Park contains a snowboard park, perfect for freestyle snowboarding.

The park has a maximum capacity of 10000 spectators standing and 4000 seated, so the show that snowboarders perform will be in front of a huge crowd.

The snowboard park is meant to be used for the Winter Olympics and Paralympics of 2014 for the freestyle snowboarding sport. Features of the park include halfpipe, parallel giant slalom, snowboard cross, slopestyle and parallel slalom.

All these guarantee a spectacular show, full of jumps and tricks. Post Olympic use of the park includes practicing of various teams.
