Northstar California is a ski resort, located near Truckee, California, USA. It is a very big ski resort that has 3170 skiable acres/12.83 km².

This beautiful ski resort also offers on-mountain dining in Mid-mtn, Zephyr Lodge, Ridge-Carlton and Summit. It has 7 terrain parks. Pinball which is medium and large, Moonshine which is small, Button Progression Park which is small and medium, The Straits Park which is large, Pipeline which is large, The Stash which is small medium and large and Lil’ Stash which is small.

Super-pipe is 22 ft/6.7 m and it has 1 fun park with Terrain features, the Magic Moguls which is small. Vertical drop is at 2280 ft/695 m, elevation (summit) is at 8610 ft/2624 m, elevation (mid-mtn) is at 6800 ft/2073 m and elevation (Village) is at 6330 ft/1929 m. Winter season lasts from Mid November to Mid April.

Average snowfall is 350 in/889 cm. Temperature is low 21°F/-6°C and high 43°F/6.1°C. Snowmaking coverage is the largest in North Lake Tahoe 50%. The resort allows overnight snowboarding. It offers 97 trails, of which 13% for beginners, 60% for intermediate and 27% for advanced snowboarders.

Longest run is 1.4 mi/2.25 km on Logger’s Loop. There is a lift system of 20 lifts, 2 gondolas, 1 six pack express, 7 quad express chairs, 1 fixed gripped chair, 2 triple chairs, 2 two/surface lifts and 5 magic carpets. Uphill capacity is at 34,799 snowboarders/hour.
