Alpine skiing in Trentino - Alto Adige, in north Italy, means moving around. The area represents the birthplace of many World Ski Champions.

On the foothills of the Alps and with three extensive mountainous group, Dolomites di Brenta, Solda and Panarotta mountain chains,Trentino-Alto Adige is a wide-ranging natural playing field for a number of sports activities and specially for skiing.

Trentino -Alto Adige hosts excellent and well-advanced infrastructures for alpine skiing have been developed over the years. The spot hosts every year in its numerous snow resorts, a significant number of very important international competitions such as World Cups, male and female, for different categories and of course, Winter Olympic Games.

The slopes of the region operate as training arena for Olympic teams such for those of the United States and Norway.  Furthermore, in Trentino side there is also a large space for non athletes, available to simple fans of the snow so as to enjoy skiing in highly organized ski facilities.
