Afton Alps is a well known ski resort, located along the St. Croix River, just outside Minneapolis and St. Paul, in the northeast corner of Denmark Township, Washington County, south of Afton, Minnesota in the Unites States.

With 50 years experience in the snow environment, Afton Alps has aptly been considered as the best tourist destination. The resort offers a skiable area of about 300 ac (1.2 km²) and a vertical drop of 350 ft (110 m). In order to please visitors, the resort has made some renovations to its facilities. A state-of-the-art snowmaking system and a new cutting edge terrain park have been added. There are 48 trails, tailored to cover all levels of ability. For beginners 13 trails are available, for intermediate skiers 27 trails and for experts 7 trails. A ski school with qualified instructors is also at your disposal. In Afton Alps you also find a variety of rental shops and 18 lifts.
