Abzakovo is a rural locality situated in Beloretsky District of the Republic of Bashkortostan in Russia. A ski resort of the same name is situated in the vicinity.

Only 60 km/37.5 mi from the city of Magnitogorsk lies one of the most modern Russian recreational and sports facilities, Abzakovo Ski Resort. The beauty of the Ural mountains, the fresh air, the rich nature of Bashkiria and the good service make Abzakovo Ski Resort a unique place for alpine skiing.

Today, the center is popular among amateurs and professionals for alpine skiing from November until late May. At the resort you will find 13 trails, mostly for intermediate skiers that cover a total length of about 18000 m/59055 ft.

Basically, the ski slopes pass through a forest allowing you to enjoy not only speed, but also the landscapes of the mountains and the unusually beautiful vegetation of the area. 4 out of 13 trails are designed for slalom and giant slalom and meet the requirements of FIS.

Five modern ski lifts deliver you on the slopes of the mountain peaks, with a capacity of 5000 skiers. A total length of 2120 m/6955 ft of slopes are in excellent condition and maintained by snowmaking system – special snow cannons and snow groomers.

Twice a week in the evening, thrill seekers can ride skiing illuminated toboggan run. If you have no idea how to ski, experienced instructors will help budding athletes to get pleasure from riding and avoid troubles during the descent.

At the base station you will find equipment rentals, bar, medical center, storage room, dressing room, a shop and a large car park. This amazing facility, combining also amazing accommodation, can host your winter vacations, enjoying your favorite sport.
