Puerto Rico is situated in the northeastern Caribbean and consists of an archipelago that includes the main island of Puerto Rico and a number of smaller islands. The climate here is classified as tropical marine climate, with an average temperature of 82.4°F/ 28°C, throughout the year. Although it is a small island, the smallest island of the Greater Antilles, Puerto Rico provides superb natural surroundings, countless adventure experiences and many places of historical interest.

Aguadilla is a lovely city, located in the northwestern tip of the island. Aquadilla is well known to visitors for its amazing beaches. Surfers Beach is a popular, sandy beach and attracts surfers, kiters and windsurfers at any time of the year.

The wind usually blows from the northeast and its average force ranges from 15 to 20 knots/27.8 to 37 kph. In addition, the swell sizes start from 1 m/3 ft and hold up to 4 m/12 ft. In summer, the wind blows offshore at 17%, in autumn it blows at 38%, in winter at 33% and in spring at 39%. The spot is recommended for experienced kiters only.

It should be noted that the ideal period for waves is from January to April. Last but not least, apart from parking, there are no other facilities on offer here. So, make sure that you have everything you need with you. Note: be careful when entering the sea, as there are a lot of sea urchins and rocks.
