Wind speed :
15-25 kn/27.7-46.3 kph
Adelaide, the liveliest city in Australia, is the capital of South Australia state and is situated on the Adelaide Plains and more specifically at the north side of Fleurieu Peninsula.

Adelaide is a popular destination for the lovers of kitesurfing, offering a great number of beaches, suitable for this extreme sport. Henley Beach South, situated on the west side of the city, is one of the most popular ones, providing a good sea breeze from July until January.

The winds are usually 15-25 kn/27.7-46.3 kph and are best for kitesurfing when they come from south, southwest and north. The water is usually shallow and clean except for the rainy days, and is best when the tide is low. The beach is sandy, but beware because its size depends on the tide. Although it gets crowded, don’t worry as there is a designated kiting area.

Note: Be careful of the sharks on really windy days.
