East Sussex is located in the south of England. The county enchants visitors with its scenic coastline, historic towns, and unspoilt landscapes. But that is not all, East Sussex also provides a great number of recreational activities for visitors and locals alike.

Camber Sands is a large, sandy beach that lies near Hastings. It is a popular location for a number of water-sports, especially for kite-surfing, due to flat, shallow water and favorable wind conditions. The launch area is designated at the eastern end of the beach, close to the Jury’s Gap car park.

The spot accommodates almost any wind direction, but the best wind direction is from the southwest. In addition, the ideal time to visit Camber Sands is during summer. Noted that, it is suitable for both the beginner and the advanced kiter. Finally, there are kite-surfing schools in the area, offering kite-surf courses for all levels.
