My name is George Kikos and I live in Athens, Greece. I spend my days practicing on BMX Flatland category which is basically ground tricks. I started at a very young age and got stuck with it as I was watching older riders practicing in various open squares around the city.
Having about 18 years of being a professional BMX Flatland rider, I have managed to reach the goals I always wanted. I now ride every day for 4 to 5 hours. For me, this is my life style and so much more. I have also participated in many contests around Europe! This is my one and true passion and while I ride around with my BMX, I feel alive – FLAΤLΑΝD for life!!
A good position in a big contest
That there are no closed parks or spots where I can practice. Other than that, injuries are part of the game
I practice my skills 25km away from home. I go there every day as it is the only place I can do it right!
My family and friends as well as many other people I think cause what they see is very different than what they’re used to see on a BMX.

Gaidaros (25km – 6 hours)
Depart from the beach of Alykes, cycle all along the coast to the village of Loukisia and head back riding at the foot of mount Xtypas.
Fylla (30 km – 6 hours)
Starting at Kitepark we head to the historic village of Fylla, visit medieval towers, bridges and castles. You will enjoy some sweet single track and ancient scenery.
Coast to Coast (20 km – 6 hours)
Departing from Gaidaros, we cycle all along Chalkida sublime seaside houses and coved beaches.
According to the desires of the group we stop for swimming.
Arriving at the bridge of Chalkida you will enjoy the Euripus Strait, the “crazy waters” and you will have a taste of local fresh seafood on the waterfront of the town.
Tours are organized from mid September till the end of June.

The Orlias gorge is located in Dion Pieria, on the northern northeastern slopes of Olympus and is divided into three parts.
We leave the cars in the small chapel of Saints Constantine and Helen located at the 4th km of the forest road Dion – Koromilia. This is the starting point of the trail that leads up to the shelter Koromilia. We can leave the trail in several points and admire the beautiful waterfalls from far away.
Section I with gorge downhill duration 5.30 – 6.00 hours is considered of moderate difficulty level and is open to participants aged 15 and over.
Crossing the trail and after hiking for 1 hour and 35 minutes alongside the stream bank through impressive vegetation, we reach the entrance of the gorge at an altitude of 770m.
In this section we find six gorgeous rappels into the vathres (small lakes) with crystal clear waters, from 7m to 28m in a landscape of unparalleled beauty!
We enter the trail again at an altitude of 550m (Altitude difference 220m) and after 40 minutes hiking we are back in our cars.
The best time to visit is from May to October.
