Victoria is the second-smallest state of Australia. It borders with New South Wales to the north and Tasman Sea to the east. The unique combination of spectacular coastline, pristine beaches, numerous national parks, dense forests and mountains attract visitors all year long and offer a plethora of activities to sport lovers.

Mornington Peninsula lies to the southeast of Melbourne, Victoria’s capital city. It is surrounded by Western Port to the east and Port Phillips to the west. There is a vast number of great surf sites and a plethora of excellent dive spots all along this section. Portsea Hole is considered to be one of Victoria’s premier boat dives. The spot is suitable for more experienced divers. The average depth here is at 15 m/49.2 ft and the maximum is at 30 m/98.4 ft.

Visibility is medium and varies from 5 m/16.4 ft to 10 m/32.8 ft. Water temperature is up to 19°C/66.2°F in summer and early autumn months and between 15°C/59°F in winter. Portsea Hole is home to a variety of fish including blue devil fish, weedy sea dragons, puffer fish and reef species. In conclusion, apart from scuba diving you can also explore the peninsula which is famous for the variety of beaches, the wineries and the mazes. Note: watch out for boat traffic and the currents.

Slight left to merge onto the M1 to Citylink Tollway / SE Suburbs With controlled toll road. Take the Eastlink/M3 to Frankston Toll road. Take the M11. Take exit. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit on the street Jetty Rd / Route 11 heading to Melbourne Continue to follow the Jetty Rd. At the roundabout, take the first exit towards Eastbourne Rd Go through 1 roundabout. Continue toward Elizabeth Ave. Turn left at Point Nepean Rd/B110. Turn right at the Esplanade.
