Cape Winelands is an area of vast vines and vineyards as the name suggests. Nestled within the Du Toitskloof Mountains, Limietberg Nature reserve offers an amazing abseiling adventure within a pristine natural environment. Abseiling here is open to both the novice and the expert. The adventure begins with a 15 minutes walk from the top of the mountain to the “Eye of the Smalblaar”, where the first two descents of an 8 series waterfall run down the mountain.
You then get to abseil two waterfalls which are 25 m/82 ft and 15 m/49 ft respectively. Once at the bottom of either of the waterfalls, you can choose to cool off or just walk out as it is easily accessible by foot. Minimum pax is 2 and maximum is 25.
