High and Over is located near Litlington and it is a beautiful site for paragliding. The launch area is small and steep, but it offers breathtaking views over the Cuckmere river valley. The take off altitude is at 76 m/249.3 ft above sea level and the take off point is found at 50°47’28” (50.7912)N; 0°8’30” (0.14177)E. In addition, the optimum wind direction is from the east, southeast and the ideal period to visit the spot is during spring.
It is advisable to avoid flying this site, when the wind blows from the north, as it is too strong. Last but not least, High and Over is appropriate for pilots of all different levels, as there are qualified instructors, willing to teach you everything you need to know about your favorite sport.
